Washington, D.C. – On Monday, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce announced its endorsement of Representative Carlos Gimenez to represent Florida’s Twenty-Eighth Congressional District. The Chamber endorses pro-business candidates for federal office who will vigorously support public policy that will advance economic growth, support jobs, and promote fiscal responsibility.

“Congressman Carlos Gimenez has a strong record of leading and delivering results for the constituents and businesses of Southern Florida,” said U.S. Chamber of Commerce Senior Political Strategist Ashlee Rich Stephenson. “Rep. Gimenez understands the challenges and economic needs facing job creators, the workforce, and families in Florida. His commitment to free enterprise solutions and pro-growth policies that will move our nation forward have earned him the endorsement of the U.S. Chamber. We are proud to support Congressman Gimenez in his re-election.”

"I'm honored to have earned the endorsement of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce," said Congressman Carlos Gimenez. "For too long, our small businesses have been trampled by rising prices, disrupted supply chains, and a President who constantly vilifies their hard work and sacrifice. As Mayor of Miami-Dade County and now as a Member of Congress, I have always stood shoulder to shoulder with our local businesses and have fought for them every step of the way. Together, we will bring our economy back and champion a prosperous future for the next generation of business owners and hard-working families."
