Washington, D.C. – Today, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce announced its endorsement of Representative Haley Stevens to represent Michigan’s Eleventh Congressional District. The Chamber endorses pro-business candidates for federal office who will vigorously support public policy that will advance economic growth, support jobs, and promote fiscal responsibility.

“Congresswoman Haley Stevens is a leader who has delivered results for the constituents and businesses of Michigan’s Eleventh Congressional District,” said Kevin Courtois, U.S. Chamber of Commerce Great Lakes Region Vice President. “Rep. Stevens understands the challenges facing business owners, workers, and families in Michigan. She supports free enterprise and the American business community. The U.S. Chamber is proud to support Congresswoman Stevens in her re-election.”

“I know the importance of bringing industry and government leaders together to deliver outcomes for Michigan’s 11th District, which is why I am proud to have the support of the U.S. Chamber of Congress in my re-election. Manufacturing is the backbone of the economy in southeast Michigan, and I have spent my career in manufacturing and economic development. As we continue working to spur innovation and growth in our economy, I will always ensure Michigan businesses have the tools they need to address rising costs, create good paying jobs, and succeed in an uncertain future.”

“We congratulate Rep. Stevens on working to earn the support of the business community,” said Jim Holcomb, President and CEO of the Michigan Chamber of Commerce. “Rep. Stevens understands the challenges facing job creators and the workforce in this tough environment. We look forward to working closely with the next Congress to address inflation and get this nation back on track with a focus on growth and economic recovery.”
