The One Big Beautiful Bill Act (H.R. 1) will deliver permanent tax relief for American businesses with provisions that would not only drive economic growth and sharpen America’s competitive edge but also put more money in workers’ pockets, increasing prosperity in communities across the country.

We asked members of the Chamber’s Association Committee of 100 (C100) how the bill will benefit their members across the country, ranging from home builders and grocers to farmers, financial advisors, and a broad range of other sectors. In addition to thanking lawmakers for their leadership, members emphasized how the bill will provide certainty for business, boost reinvestment, create more jobs, and bolster American manufacturing.

Here’s a more detailed look at what they had to say.

‘Growth in good-paying jobs’

“You can’t underestimate the impact that these tax provisions are going to have on the future growth of the family-owned businesses on which our industry is built and the workers in these communities who are going to continue to see growth in good-paying, family-supporting jobs.”

 — Kevin Keane, President and CEO, American Beverage Association

‘We need long-term certainty’

“We are so appreciative of the work on the one big, beautiful tax bill because our industry is enormously capital-intensive. When you, for instance, want to invest in a new paper mill in our country, that can cost more than $800 million. Provisions in this bill help allow for expensing to be deductible, and that is critical. We need long-term certainty for our manufacturers to successfully invest in the United States.”

 — Heidi Brock, President and CEO, American Forest and Paper Association

This bill ‘is a game changer’

“The One Big Beautiful Bill is a game changer, I think, for the home building industry and, of course, the Americans who live and purchase homes and apartments in this country. … The majority of homes in this country are built by small businesses, and this bill is going to do a great job in keeping them with low taxation.”

 — James Tobin, President and CEO, National Association of Home Builders

‘Going to allow us to innovate more’

“Our members are producing recycled materials that are an integral part of the manufacturing supply chain, and work their way into everything from the cars you drive, to the roads you drive on, the bridges you drive over, the laptops you use every day, the beverage cans you drink out of. … Tax reform is going to allow us to innovate more, to expand domestic manufacturing, and create more and more jobs within the United States.”

 — Robin Wiener, President, Recycled Materials Association

 ‘A big thank you’

“This bill provides the certainty that American businesses need to invest with confidence, from Main Street to manufacturers. It allows American businesses to stay competitive and keep pace with innovation. A big thank you to both the administration and members of Congress who have been advocating for these policies for well over a decade.”

 — Leigh Lytle, President and CEO, Equipment Leasing and Finance Association

‘We are enormously grateful’

“Tax policy is crucial to encouraging future innovation investment. We need to ensure that companies have an incentive to invest in America to manufacture for the world, and the technology industry is focused on ensuring that innovation investment happens here in the United States. … We are enormously grateful to the Trump administration and Congress for ensuring that tax policy is focused on encouraging investment in innovation, research, and development that will encourage further manufacturing and job creation right here in the U.S.”

 — Jason Oxman, President and Chief Executive Officer, Information Technology Industry Council

‘Good for small, family-owned businesses’

“Family-owned businesses like wine and spirits wholesalers are looking for the same kinds of certainty that big global corporations have in doing their tax planning. This bill is good for small, family-owned businesses and Main Street businesses like wine and spirits wholesalers across the country.”

 — Francis Creighton, President and CEO, Wine and Spirits Wholesalers of America

‘This bill will provide tax certainty’

“For America's beer distributors, there wasn't a more significant piece of legislation than getting this bill across the finish line. … This bill will provide tax certainty for Main Street businesses everywhere. And tax certainty and competitiveness are more important than ever.”

 — Craig Purser, President and CEO, National Beer Wholesalers Association

‘The ability to reinvest’

“Extending these tax provisions and providing certainty to Main Street America is so important to independent grocers. … It gives them the ability to reinvest back in the businesses, to buy new equipment, to invest in new services, and to make them competitive so they can continue to serve generations for many, many years to come.”

Greg Ferrera, President and CEO, National Grocers Association

‘A lifeline for American farmers’

“The extension of the tax provisions are a lifeline for American farmers, especially as it relates to fruits, vegetables, and flowers. If you think about all the headwinds that American farmers are experiencing—between labor, increasing costs, access to markets—the extension of these provisions provide much needed relief.”

Cathy Burns, President and CEO, International Fresh Produce Association

‘Billions of dollars of new investment’

“This [tax bill] will unlock billions of dollars of new investment across rural America, delivering strong and stable markets for the American farmer and positioning U.S. biofuel producers to compete in global markets. We applaud the administration and our champions in the House and the Senate for working so hard to make sure that the U.S. biofuel industry can continue to deliver more homegrown American energy, hold down fuel costs, and unleash continued investment across rural America.”

 — Emily Skor, CEO, Growth Energy

‘Achieve financial security’

“Having permanency in the tax code will enable all Americans from every community across this country to achieve financial security. I'd like to thank the members of the administration and Congress for their foresight and helping make this a reality.”

 — Kevin Mayeux, CEO, National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors

‘Tax certainty and tax relief’

“The big, beautiful bill gives tax certainty and tax relief to all of our businesses. 3,100 distilleries and our partners with restaurants, taverns, bars, and in the agriculture community. From grain to glass. The big, beautiful bill will enable our industry to continue to thrive.”

 — Chris Swonger, President and CEO, Distilled Spirits Council of the United States and responsibility.org

 ‘Excited about the opportunities’

“The restaurant industry is so excited about the opportunities that come from making these tax cuts permanent and extending new tax breaks for the important people that work in the restaurant industry. Of course, restaurants are a very capital-intensive and labor-intensive business. So, the full deduction of equipment expense that will allow them to free up capital while making those important improvements in their restaurants each year has a huge difference on people's enjoyment and the livelihood of the restaurant industry.”

 — Michelle Korsmo, President and CEO, National Restaurant Association
