During a recent Institute for Organization Management webinar, we delved into innovative strategies for workforce development, with a particular focus on Talent Pipeline Management (TPM). Experts Niki DaSilva and Mary Anne Sheahan explained how TPM applies supply chain principles to talent management, helping to address industry skill gaps and enhance career pathways.

They emphasized the importance of employer engagement and data-driven decision-making in creating effective workforce solutions. The session also highlighted the growth and impact of the TPM Academy, which has trained over 1,400 practitioners across various states and countries.

The webinar showcased successful apprenticeship programs in Vermont, led by Mary Anne Sheahan. These programs, developed through collaborative efforts between employers and educators, aim to create sustainable talent pipelines in sectors such as construction and healthcare.

The Vermont Construction Collaborative and the Vermont Healthcare Collaborative were presented as case studies, demonstrating how structured training and employer incentives can lead to significant workforce improvements.

This engaging webinar is a must-watch for those interested in cutting-edge workforce solutions and industry collaboration. Come to Institute and meet more chamber, association, and nonprofit professionals. View the full presentation here.
