The U.S.-Egypt Business Council (USEBC), in cooperation with our partners at AmCham Egypt, stands ready to work with the Biden Administration and the Government of Egypt on a range of issues and opportunities to deepen and expand bilateral economic ties. We believe our respective governments should embrace a bilateral agenda that will foster a stronger, more dynamic U.S.-Egypt economic partnership. A forward-looking agenda will help Egypt achieve an economic renaissance that creates much-needed private sector jobs and inclusive growth, while creating American jobs and strengthening demand for U.S. exports.

At the foundation of this agenda, the USEBC strongly encourages leaders from both governments to augment the existing U.S.-Egypt Strategic Dialogue by adding working groups focused on crosscutting topics and specific industry sectors. We provide additional recommendations in this report, which outlines four key objectives and corresponding recommendations designed to enhance the U.S.-Egypt economic relationship.
