GRAPEVINE, TX – The U.S. Chamber of Commerce and the Grapevine Chamber of Commerce recently hosted U.S. Representative Beth Van Duyne (R-TX-24) for a roundtable discussion in Grapevine, Texas with local business leaders on the pro-growth business tax provisions in President Trump's One Big Beautiful Bill Act, which was signed into law on July 4th. This forward-looking, pro-growth policy is vital to maintaining America's prosperity and competitive edge and will create new opportunities for American workers and businesses to thrive.

We applaud U.S. Representative Beth Van Duyne for working to ensure that the constituents of the 24th District of Texas continue to benefit from long-term tax relief, fostering growth for workers and businesses across her district and beyond.

“The U.S. Chamber thanks Congresswoman Beth Van Duyne for her tireless work to ensure Texas small businesses and working families continue to benefit from the pro-growth policies enacted in the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017 by passing the One Big Beautiful Bill Act,” said John Gonzales, Executive Director of the Southwest/South Central Region at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. “The economic impact of lower rates and less regulations have helped businesses of all sizes in the district. As a member of the Ways and Means committee, Congresswoman Van Duyne is working hard to promote jobs and economic growth in Texas’ 24th District.”

“I appreciated the opportunity to meet with so many outstanding North Texas small business leaders who continue to fuel innovation, create jobs, and strengthen our economy,” said Congresswoman Van Duyne. “As a member of the Ways and Means Committee, I’ve spent the past two years advancing pro-growth tax policies, like extending the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, that we included in the One Big Beautiful Bill. Small businesses deserve certainty and a tax code that rewards investment and empowers success.”

“The Grapevine Chamber of Commerce appreciated the opportunity to work with the U.S. Chamber’s tax roundtable with Congresswoman Beth Van Duyne,” said RaDonna Hessel, CEO of the Grapevine Chamber of Commerce. “We have informed and active local business leaders who understand that by working together and having substantial discussions with our elected officials, we can bring positive change.  The Tax Cuts and Jobs Act was not just important to our Grapevine Chamber businesses, but those businesses are the ones who pay their employees and help strengthen the opportunities for our residents to support their families. As a member of the House committee on Ways and Means as well as the House Committee on Small Business, Congresswoman Van Duyne knows pro-growth policies will help businesses, both large and small, build and expand our local economy and we are grateful for her willingness to answer questions, have frank conversations and discuss ideas for solutions that improve our business climate daily.”

The U.S. Chamber’s tax roundtables are a part of its Growing America’s Future campaign, an education and advocacy blitz in support of maintaining a pro-growth tax code to foster a robust U.S. economy that benefits all Americans. These events will continue over the coming months in communities across the country.
