GREELEY, CO – The U.S. Chamber of Commerce and the Greeley Area Chamber of Commerce recently hosted U.S. Representative Gabe Evans (R-CO-08) for a roundtable discussion in Greeley, Colorado with local business leaders on the pro-growth business tax provisions in President Trump's One Big Beautiful Bill Act, which was signed into law on July 4th. This forward-looking, pro-growth policy is vital to maintaining America's prosperity and competitive edge and will create new opportunities for American workers and businesses to thrive.
We applaud Congressman Evans for working to ensure that the constituents of the 8th District of Colorado continue to benefit from long-term tax relief, fostering growth for workers and businesses across his district and beyond.
“The U.S. Chamber appreciates Congressman Evans’s efforts to ensure Colorado’s small businesses and working families continue to benefit from the pro-growth provisions in the One Big Beautiful Bill Act,” said John Gonzales, Executive Director of the Southwest/South Central Region at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. “Lower tax rates and streamlined regulations have had a meaningful impact on businesses throughout the district. As a member of the Energy and Commerce Committee, Congressman Evans also remains committed to advancing energy policies that foster job creation and economic development in Colorado and across the country.”
“It was wonderful to meet with local business and industry leaders to discuss the challenges and opportunities facing Colorado’s workforce,” said Congressman Evans. “Since taking office, I have secured pro-growth tax reform and tax relief to strengthen small businesses, support working families, and keep our economy moving forward. These conversations are critical to shaping solutions, and I’m committed to continuing them as we work together to ensure our state’s economic success.”
“The Greeley Area Chamber was the perfect spot to host this roundtable," said Jaime Henning, President and CEO of the Greeley Area Chamber of Commerce. "Our businesses make the quality of life better for thousands of Coloradans and we are proud to partner with the U.S. Chamber in convening and helping our businesses voice be heard.”
The U.S. Chamber’s tax roundtables are a part of its Growing America’s Future campaign, an education and advocacy blitz in support of maintaining a pro-growth tax code to foster a robust U.S. economy that benefits all Americans. To date, the Chamber has hosted over 60 tax roundtables, and these events will continue over the coming months in communities across the country.
