BRASELTON, GA – Today, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, the Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce, and the Jackson County Area Chamber of Commerce hosted U.S. Representative Andrew Clyde (R-GA-09) for a roundtable discussion in Braselton, Georgia with local business leaders on the pro-growth business tax provisions in President Trump's One Big Beautiful Bill Act, which was signed into law on July 4th. This forward-looking, pro-growth policy is vital to maintaining America's prosperity and competitive edge and will create new opportunities for American workers and businesses to thrive.

We applaud Congressman Clyde for working to ensure that the constituents of the 9th District of Georgia continue to benefit from long-term tax relief, fostering growth for workers and businesses across his district and beyond.

“We thank Congressman Clyde for his continued leadership on pro-growth tax policies and his support of the One Big Beautiful Bill,” said Clark Jackson, Senior Director of Regional Government Affairs at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. “His efforts are helping to drive job creation and expand economic opportunity not just for his constituents, but for American small businesses, workers, and families across the country.”

“Republicans’ One Big Beautiful Bill is a tremendous win for American workers and small businesses,” said Congressman Clyde. “I proudly voted for this monumental legislation to deliver historic tax cuts and pro-growth policies to hardworking Northeast Georgians, and I look forward to its enactment unleashing economic growth for years to come.”

“The Gwinnett Chamber has long supported tax policies that encourage job creation, innovation, and investment in our communities,” said Nick Masino, President and CEO of the Gwinnett Chamber and Partnership Gwinnett. “We thank Congressman Clyde for his leadership and the US Chamber for their partnership in advancing pro-growth policies that champion business.”

“We appreciate Congressman Andrew Clyde spending time with us to discuss the One Big Beautiful Bill Act and the impact to local businesses,” said Steve Wittry, President and CEO of the Jackson County Area Chamber of Commerce. “Economic development efforts include not only attracting new businesses to our community but also doing whatever we can to ensure the growth and prosperity of our existing businesses. Fostering open lines of communication with our elected officials is one such way that we can provide support. We appreciate local businesses and the Congressman for joining us for this important conversation.”

The U.S. Chamber’s tax roundtables are a part of its Growing America’s Future campaign, an education and advocacy blitz in support of maintaining a pro-growth tax code to foster a robust U.S. economy that benefits all Americans. These events will continue over the coming months in communities across the country.
