JACKSONVILLE, FL – Today, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and the JAX Chamber of Commerce hosted U.S. Representative Aaron Bean (R-FL-04) for a roundtable discussion in Jacksonville, Florida with local business leaders on the pro-growth business tax provisions in President Trump's One Big Beautiful Bill Act, which was signed into law on July 4th. This forward-looking, pro-growth policy is vital to maintaining America's prosperity and competitive edge and will create new opportunities for American workers and businesses to thrive.
We applaud Congressman Bean for working to ensure that the constituents of the 4th District of Florida continue to benefit from long-term tax relief, fostering growth for workers and businesses across his district and beyond.
“The U.S. Chamber appreciates Congressman Bean’s support of the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, which reflects his commitment to pro-growth policies that enable small businesses to reinvest and grow, as well as strengthen local economies,” said Brince Manning, Senior Manager of Regional Government Affairs at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. “His leadership helps ensure that small businesses, workers, and families in Florida’s 4th District—and across the country—have the tools they need to thrive.”
“Small businesses are the backbone of Northeast Florida’s economy, and the One Big Beautiful Bill is a pro-growth game-changer,” said Congressman Bean. “It cuts taxes on overtime and tips, boosts wages, and gives local businesses the certainty they need to invest, expand, and hire. Across Jacksonville and our surrounding communities, we’re seeing renewed energy—stronger paychecks, new job opportunities, and real economic momentum. When small businesses thrive, our communities thrive, and this bill is helping make that happen.”
“The JAX Chamber thanks Congressman Bean for being a champion and advocate for small business,” said Mike Zaffaroni, Chair of the JAX Chamber Government Affairs Committee. “Pro-growth tax policy, including restoring tax cuts for small businesses and credits for Research and Development, was a priority when we spoke with our Congressional delegation during our last Washington D.C. Fly-In. The more we can put small businesses in a position to succeed, the more our economy will thrive.”
The U.S. Chamber’s tax roundtables are a part of its Growing America’s Future campaign, an education and advocacy blitz in support of maintaining a pro-growth tax code to foster a robust U.S. economy that benefits all Americans. To date, the Chamber has hosted over 50 tax roundtables, and these events will continue over the coming months in communities across the country.
