LEWISVILLE, TX – The U.S. Chamber of Commerce and the Lewisville Area Chamber of Commerce recently hosted U.S. Representative Brandon Gill (R-TX-26) for a roundtable discussion in Lewisville, Texas with local business leaders on the pro-growth business tax provisions in President Trump's One Big Beautiful Bill Act, which was signed into law on July 4th. This forward-looking, pro-growth policy is vital to maintaining America's prosperity and competitive edge and will create new opportunities for American workers and businesses to thrive.

We applaud Congressman Gill for working to ensure that the constituents of the 26th District of Texas continue to benefit from long-term tax relief, fostering growth for workers and businesses across his district and beyond.

“The U.S. Chamber appreciates Congressman Brandon Gill and the Lewisville Chamber’s efforts to ensure North Texas small businesses and working families continue to benefit from the pro-growth provisions in the One Big Beautiful Bill Act,” said John Gonzales, Executive Director of the Southwest/South Central Region at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. “Lower tax rates, spending cuts and streamlined regulations have had a meaningful impact on businesses throughout the 26th district. As a member of the Budget Committee, Congressman Gill remains committed to balancing the budget and pro-growth policies that foster job creation and economic growth in Texas and across the country.”

“It was a pleasure meeting with a group of community and business leaders at the Lewisville Chamber of Commerce,” said Congressman Gill. “These are the men and women who are the lifeblood of our local economy, ensuring that Texas’ 26th District is a great place to do business, build a life, and raise a family. It’s no wonder that people are pouring into our district in droves for lower cost of living, opportunities to flourish, and a ripe jobs market. I am working alongside the local men and women of the Chamber to ensure that Texas-26 continues to foster the American dream.”

“We appreciate Congressman Gill taking the time to meet with our local business leaders and share updates from Washington,” said Lori Fickling, President and CEO of the Lewisville Area Chamber of Commerce. “His willingness to listen, answer questions, and discuss how federal policy impacts our community means a great deal to the businesses we serve. Having Congressman Gill here at the Lewisville Area Chamber gave our members a valuable opportunity to engage directly with their representative. Open dialogue like this helps strengthen the connection between local business and government, and reminds everyone in the room that local voices truly matter in shaping national policy.”

The U.S. Chamber’s tax roundtables are a part of its Growing America’s Future campaign, an education and advocacy blitz in support of maintaining a pro-growth tax code to foster a robust U.S. economy that benefits all Americans. To date, the Chamber has hosted over 75 tax roundtables, and these events will continue over the coming months in communities across the country.
