LAKE ELSINORE, CA – The U.S. Chamber of Commerce and the Southwest California Legislative Council recently hosted U.S. Representative Ken Calvert (R-CA-41) for a roundtable discussion in Lake Elsinore, California with local business leaders on the pro-growth business tax provisions in President Trump's One Big Beautiful Bill Act, which was signed into law on July 4th. This forward-looking, pro-growth policy is vital to maintaining America's prosperity and competitive edge and will create new opportunities for American workers and businesses to thrive.

We applaud Congressman Calvert for working to ensure that the constituents of the 41st District of California continue to benefit from long-term tax relief, fostering growth for workers and businesses across his district and beyond.

“By permanently extending critical pro-growth tax policies, the One Big Beautiful Bill gives small businesses the long-term certainty they need to invest and create jobs,” said Jennings Imel, Vice President at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. “We appreciate Congressman Calvert’s leadership and support of tax policies that will help drive economic growth. Today’s discussion with chambers and business owners in Southwest Riverside County showcased how small businesses will benefit from the OBBBA.”

“The tax cuts just enacted by Congress will incentivize economic investments here and around the country in the near future,” said Congressman Calvert. “Just like we saw after the passage of the 2017 tax cuts, I anticipate those investments to result in job growth, wage growth, and expanded economic opportunities across the country. I appreciate the US Chamber of Commerce and our local small business owners who participated in today’s discussion.”

“We appreciate Congressman Calvert taking the time to meet with community and business leaders, as well as representatives from our local chambers, for an open and informative discussion,” said Erin Sasse, Chair of the Southwest California Legislative Council. “The forum provided a valuable opportunity to ask direct questions and gain insights on key issues such as tax cuts, infrastructure, healthcare, and more. This information can now be shared with our colleagues and networks. Special thanks to the U.S. Chamber for facilitating this important event.”

The U.S. Chamber’s tax roundtables are a part of its Growing America’s Future campaign, an education and advocacy blitz in support of maintaining a pro-growth tax code to foster a robust U.S. economy that benefits all Americans. These events will continue over the coming months in communities across the country.
