
Benjamin Kron

Benjamin Kron serves as the Senior Manager of Cyber, Space, and National Security Policy at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, where he supports the Chamber’s Space Industry Council and leads advocacy on commercial space, spectrum, cybersecurity, and regulatory issues that enable a competitive and resilient space economy.
Previously, Ben served as a Senior Program Analyst at SAIC supporting the FAA’s Office of Commercial Space Transportation (AST), focusing on licensing, safety, and industry engagement for commercial spaceflight.
Prior to his work with FAA/AST, Ben held business development and operations roles at York Space Systems, supporting constellation growth, customer engagements, and mission execution across government and commercial accounts.
Outside of his Chamber role, Ben serves as both the Treasury Chair, Auction Chair and Board Member of the Washington Space Business Roundtable. His prior experience includes roles in government affairs and international programs with Cheniere Energy and the US‑China Education Trust, as well as positions with Chubb and the U.S. House of Representatives.
Ben received his B.A. in International Relations and Mandarin Chinese from The George Washington University, with additional study in economics at the London School of Economics. He is APMP Bid/Proposal Foundation certified, proficient in Mandarin, and was recognized as a Payload “30 Under 30” Pioneer.
