Nick Marsh is the CEO of Founders Table Restaurant Group. Founders Table was launched in 2020 in partnership with the $35 billion consumer-focused private equity firm, L-Catterton.

Founders Table was formed to create, acquire and grow innovative, founder-led, restaurant companies. Chopt Creative Salad Co. and Dos Toros Taqueria are the cornerstones of the holding company.

Mr. Marsh has been the CEO of Chopt Creative Salad Co. since 2008. He was the original investor in Chopt when the company had two units and has led the company through its growth to 91 restaurants in New York, Connecticut, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Washington D.C., Virginia, North Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee, and Alabama. During this growth, the company completed two additional rounds of financing and, ultimately, the recapitalization and initial partnership with L-Catterton in 2015.

Mr. Marsh was the original investor in Mendocino Farms Sandwich Market when the company had one unit in downtown Los Angeles. He helped grow the company and orchestrated the sale to L-Catterton in 2012. In partnership with L-Catterton, he remained a Director and continued to help grow the company until its successful sale to the private equity firm TPG in 2018.

Mr. Marsh became the lead investor and first outside Director in Dos Toros Taqueria in 2015. He helped grow the company to 21 units in NYC and Chicago until its acquisition into Founders Table.

Prior to this, Mr. Marsh was one of the founders of Xando Coffee and Bar in 1994. The company built 23 restaurants in New York City, Washington D.C., Connecticut and Pennsylvania before merging with Cosi Restaurants. Mr. Marsh became President and COO, growing the company to 100 restaurants on the East Coast and Midwest.

Nick is Chairman of the Board of the non-profit Wellness in the Schools, a national organization that provides food and fitness programming to underprivileged public school children.

He previously served on the Board of Directors of Quiznos Sandwich Company.

Nick holds a B.A. from Princeton University. He lives in New York City with his wife Marie, daughter Lilah, and son Nicholas.
