Small business takeaway
AI-driven platforms, such as LinkedIn’s customer relationship management tools and automation systems, are streamlining operations for small businesses. These platforms lower barriers to efficiency, growth, and competition by providing access to advances in data-driven insights, personalized marketing, and operational automation, which were once limited to larger enterprises.
LinkedIn’s new tool for small businesses, Premium All-In-One, is a response to trends the networking platform was seeing in its data and hearing from its members, Judy Nam, Vice President of Small Business Marketing at LinkedIn, told CO—.
LinkedIn is seeing a surge in entrepreneurship, with more and more of its members launching businesses, often as solopreneurs or with only one or two employees.
The number of members adding “Founder” to their profiles jumped 69% between July 2024 and July 2025, LinkedIn reported recently.
According to LinkedIn’s Work Change Special Report, released in December, 50% of small business employees surveyed said the increased availability of AI tools is making them consider a new career path, such as entrepreneurship.
“AI is lowering the barrier to entry,” Nam said, “and smaller companies are feeling like they can punch above their weight class because they now have the power of AI.”
But along with the growth of AI, small businesses are seeing the increased importance of human connections and networking, with 71% saying human voices are crucial to building credibility in the age of AI, LinkedIn’s report found.
Serving up leads: ‘We’ve heard from users that they’re saving five to seven hours a week because of daily prospect suggestions’
While AI is empowering small businesses, many of the tools being offered are still too complex for them, Nam said.
“If you talk to a small business owner, they can probably rattle off five to 10 tools, software programs, etc., that they have to use on a daily basis,” Nam said. “That takes time away from them finding clients, and servicing their clients,” she said.
“Small businesses need something that’s extremely streamlined, trustworthy and obviously effective,” she said.
Premium All-In-One is designed to let a business manage sales, marketing, and hiring on a single dashboard.
“When you log in as a user, it’s really easy to see everything that you are doing or need to do as it relates to sales, marketing, and hiring,” Nam said.
“This is a great fit for those smaller size companies that are trying to reduce and streamline and simplify,” she said. “They really are wearing multiple hats at one time, so the convenience of being able to do it all in one place is really great.”

In addition, Premium All-In-One gives the user recommendations about actions they should take to grow their business, such as how to improve your profile or potential clients you should reach out to.
“Every day we send you daily prospects suggestions,” Nam said. The business owner can specify the industries and job titles they want to connect with, and locations where they are seeking prospects, and receive 15 recommendations every day.
“We’ve heard from users that they’re saving five to seven hours a week because of daily prospect suggestions,” she said.

AI assistance to boost visibility for SMBs
All-In-One also provides AI assistance, such as tips on how to write a better profile or how to craft a headline that will draw relevant readers to a post.
A Premium All-In-One membership costs $99.99 per month and is an upgrade from the standard Premium Business at $69.99 monthly. Premium All-In-One, however, comes with a monthly $50 advertising credit and a $50 hiring credit that can be used to promote job listings or increase a company’s visibility.
“You can use that money towards boosting posts that are performing really well,” Nam said. “What that does is it helps you get the word out and show up in front of more people that are interested in what you are saying. So it’s a super easy way to try advertising without having to put down additional dollars, because it comes as part of your subscription,” she said.
Those monthly credits, if they aren’t used, roll over to the next month and accumulate until the business is ready to use that money.
“Small businesses need flexibility,” Nam said. “You don’t have to feel like that $50 credit is going away. It will be right there for you when you are ready.”

Prelaunch results yield 61% higher client conversion rate
A prelaunch test of All-In-One showed users saw 61% more conversions with prospective customers, 40% more profile views, and 57% more followers.
“These numbers are extremely promising in terms of getting our small business customers to that end goal of growing their business, adding more clients, adding more awesome employees,” Nam said.
“We think this is a pretty big game changer for our small business customers.”
