Based in Bremen, Georgia, Southeastern Hose has evolved from a family-run operation into one of the Southeast’s leading manufacturers of hose assemblies and expansion joints.

The company serves mission-critical industries, including chemical processing, power generation, HVAC, and semiconductor manufacturing, where precision and reliability are essential. Today, it remains family-led, with Vice President of Operations Trey Travis rising from the factory floor into executive leadership.

Travis said one of the company’s biggest challenges came during a major facility expansion that tested both operations and culture.

Be intentional in your planning, stay close to your operations, and never underestimate the importance of execution. Trey Travis, Vice President of Operations, Southeastern Hose

“One of the most significant challenges Southeastern Hose has faced was scaling operations during our most recent facility expansion while maintaining the precision, quality, and responsiveness our customers expect,” explained Travis.

That growth required not only adopting new systems and training but staying committed to the company’s service standards during the transition. One key decision during that period reinforced the company’s customer-first approach. “We also made a deliberate decision to maintain a 24/7 service line answered by a real person rather than an automated system,” Travis explained.

For Travis, long-term success in manufacturing comes down to discipline, preparation, and staying connected to the work at every level. “Be intentional in your planning, stay close to your operations, and never underestimate the importance of execution,” he added.

Travis also emphasized that stellar leadership is rooted in presence and engagement, not distance from day-to-day operations. Over time, the company has learned that consistency, documentation, and accountability are critical in a precision-driven industry.

“We have learned the value of ‘CYA’ in the most responsible and disciplined sense of the term, making sure every decision is covered with clear supporting facts,” Travis said.

Southeastern Hose continues to grow while reinforcing its culture of precision, accountability, and hands-on leadership — values that have carried the company from a small family business into a key industrial manufacturer in the region.
