Congressional and Public Affairs

The Congressional and Public Affairs Division is the Chamber’s lobbying team with a footprint in Washington and across the country. We work to keep the House and Senate focused on the Chamber’s top priorities.

As the team’s fearless leader, Chamber Senior Vice President Jack Howard, likes to say, “Members of Congress can run but they cannot hide.”

Our powerhouse team consists of 11 DC-based lobbyists, who work in a satellite office steps from the Capitol, and a regional team of 17 that works directly with state and local chambers and member businesses from nine offices across the United States.
