San Diego, CA – Today, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce announced its endorsement of Representative Scott Peters (CA-52) to represent California’s Fiftieth Congressional District. The Chamber endorses pro-business candidates for federal office who will vigorously support public policy that will advance economic growth, support jobs, and promote fiscal responsibility.

“Congressman Scott Peters has a strong record of leadership, building consensus, and delivering results for the constituents of Southern California,” said Ashlee Rich Stephenson, U.S. Chamber of Commerce Senior Political Strategist. “Congressman Peters understands the challenges and economic needs facing the workforce and families in California. He is committed to free trade and pro-growth policies, as well as free enterprise solutions that will move our nation forward. The U.S. Chamber is proud to support Rep. Peters in his re-election.”

“In Congress, I fight to give all San Diegans the chance to build better, more prosperous futures for themselves and their families. That can’t happen unless our businesses – large and small –can thrive and grow and provide good jobs,” said Rep. Scott Peters. “I work with both the local and U.S. Chamber of Commerce to learn the challenges our business owners face and to help solve those problems with innovative, pragmatic, and lasting solutions that make sense for everyone. I thank the U.S. Chamber for their endorsement of my work and my campaign and look forward to our continued partnership.”
