Mike Rose of Comcast Named Chairman and Steve Roberts from the West Virginia Chamber Named Vice-ChairmanWASHINGTON, D.C. — Today, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce Mike Rose, Vice President of External Affairs at Comcast, has been named Chairman of the Chamber’s Political Advocacy Committee. Additionally, Steve Roberts, President and CEO of the West Virginia Chamber of Commerce has been named Vice-Chairman of the Political Advocacy Committee. These positions are appointed by the Chairman of the Board of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. Rose and Roberts will assume their respective leadership roles effective immediately."For years, the U.S. Chamber's Political Advocacy Committee has been committed to championing pro-growth candidates and building a successful model of engagement," said Chris Lofgren, Chairman of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. "Mike and Steve will guide the committee through major decisions and offer valuable insight into the political and advocacy priorities on behalf of the business community and our partners. Given their vast experience in political strategy and government affairs, they are battle-tested leaders who will guide the Political Advocacy Committee with distinction.
