WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Chamber of Commerce Vice President of Transportation, Infrastructure, and Supply Chain Policy John Drake issued the following statement today after the Biden administration released guidance for federal agencies to increase accountability and transparency around funding and project delivery within the bipartisan Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act.

“We applaud efforts by the Biden administration to ensure transparent, efficient, and equitable implementation of the bipartisan Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act. The infrastructure bill makes a record investment in our nation’s infrastructure that will help address basic American needs, especially for underserved communities, and increasing accountability and transparency around funding and project delivery will ensure these opportunities are met. Efficient implementation of the infrastructure bill will unlock our economy’s growth potential and productive capacity.”
